Public Works Department

All working utility departments are located at public works.  This includes Water, Sewer, Gas, Electric, and Street Departments.  Our goal is to provide friendly, high-quality, and economical service to the citizens of Flora.  Toby Rinehart is Supt. of Public Services and he oversees gas, electric, water, sewer, streets and the wastewater treatment plant.  Chad Bayles oversees cemetery, park, recreation and the swimming pool.

All Utility Departments are "on call" 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.  If you have a utility emergency after regular working hours, you may call the Flora Police Department.  After Hours Emergency Telephone Number 618-662-9111.
