Police Pension Board

Pursuant to the Illinois Pension Code, each municipality shall establish and administer a police pension fund for the benefit of its police officers and of their surviving spouses, children, and certain other dependents.  Two members are appointed, 2 members are elected by active members, and the 5th member is appointed from the beneficiaries.  The five member board meet quarterly on the fourth Thursday of the month at 3:00 p.m.
