Charley Brown Memorial Park

One of Flora's most attractive assets is Charley Brown Memorial Park, located three miles west of the city on Old Route 50.  The park is named after the late Charley Brown, a prominent local farmer, after the site was given to the City as a gift by his surviving wife.  The park offers 100 acres of pleasant facilities and green space for recreation including features such as, (1) 85 Camping Sites with electrical and water hookups, (2) Modern Washrooms/Showers, (3) A Children's Playground, (4) Modern Swimming Pool, (5) Small Fishing Lake, (6) Nine-Hole Golf Course, (7) Disc Golf Course, and (8) The Little Toot Railroad.

Annual special events at the park include the Fourth of July celebration, the County Fair held the third week in July, Kid's Fishing Day held in June, hunts hosted by the Coon Hunters Club and Christmas in the Park.  For more information about Charley Brown Memorial Park including a General Park Map and Camping/Shelter Reservations information, please see the documents at the bottom of the page.

Flora Rotary Park

This City of Flora local park is sponsored and maintained by the Flora Rotary Club.  Flora Rotary Park is located on East North Avenue and offers the public a children's playground, with its distinctive Rocket Slide, six public tennis courts, a skate park and a lighted basketball court.  

Downtown Pocket Park

Located in the heart of Downtown Flora at 134 E. North Ave. is Flora Downtown Pocket Park.  This inviting park offers a place to meet friends, have a quick lunch, or take a break from shopping at Flora's local downtown specialty shops.  This small park includes beautiful greenery and a beautiful gazebo with small sitting area.
